Teen Outback Board Members
Our Board of Directors is composed of 16 volunteer members who donate their time — not only to our monthly meetings, but also to the youth events that are offered to all area youth each month. Their dedication and enthusiasm drives our mission of providing a safe place for all of our area youth.
Youth DirectorLauren attended Southridge High School and Oakland City University. She is a private music instructor for both piano and vocal lessons. Lauren was a native of Holland and now resides in Jasper.
PresidentBrad is a Huntingburg resident and has been on the board since 2012. He graduated from Southridge High School, then Vincennes University with a degree in Information Technology. He is employed with Kimball International and works in IT. He also serves as a member of the Huntingburg Volunteer Fire Department. Brad has been volunteering at the Teen Outback for 14 years now and enjoys being active in the community and working with the youth while giving them a safe haven to have fun.
Vice-PresidentGina lives in Huntingburg. Her kids grew up attending events at the Teen Outback. She graduated high school in Loogootee and college at Indiana State University with a degree in accounting. Currently, she works at the City of Huntingburg as an Office Manager and HR Director. She is also actively involved with the Young Life organization. She chose to join the Teen Outback board because she likes working with youth, and thinks the Teen Outback is a great asset to our community!
TreasurerApril Blessinger & husband Kerry live in Huntingburg. April works as an Administrative Assistant for the City of H’burg Transit Department. She has been involved with the youth of our community driving a school bus for 16 years. From 2013-2017 she served as the Youth Director at the Teen Outback. Since resigning from the Director position she has stayed involved volunteering & serving on the Youth Board.
SecretaryMallory lives in Jasper and graduated from Indiana University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and from the University of Southern Indiana with my Master’s in Social Work. Outside of the Teen Outback, she is heavily involved with Mentors for Youth and Young Life. She joined the Teen Outback Board in April 2017 because she loves working with the youth in our area and believes the Teen Outback provides a fun, positive, and safe environment to do so.
